A Business-to-Business Showcase and Cocktail Reception
Wednesday August 6, 2014
5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Pavilion, Ronald Reagan Building
On August 6, the African Women's Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP), a trade and investment initiative supported by the U.S. State Department and the United States Agency for International Development will host a Business-to-Business (B2B) Showcase and Cocktail Reception. The event, "Strengthening the Bottom Line with African Women CEOs", is co-sponsored by Meridian International Center and the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.
Why Attend: Meet Prospective Suppliers of African goods
The B2B Showcase and Cocktail Reception will provide an opportunity for US firms to interact with at least 40 African women business-owners in the fashion, cosmetics, processed foods, home décor, and textiles sectors. The entrepreneurs are experienced business owners who are ready to engage with US-based firms by exporting internationally to the US or within Africa to access regional supply chains.
The program will kick-off with a keynote speech by a senior US government representative.
